Senior Project Manager

Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Department: Industrial Plant Services

Serves as responsible authority on the development and completion of construction project to ensure customer satisfaction through quality craftsmanship and efficient use of resources

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project Management:

  • Develop and/or analyze master project schedule. Integrate owner project schedule into master schedule.
  • Review critical path, constraints, and milestones
  • Track all project issues as related to master schedule
  • Interface with subcontractor, suppliers, project owners, consultants, team members and others to provide scheduling data for change order request(s), bid comparisons, and resolving schedule problems
  • Required to perform detail schedule variance analysis
  • Develop and maintain project metrics
  • Provide weekly/monthly summary reports to project management
  • Responsible for fostering additional business development opportunities for organization
  • Perform additional assignments as required

Job Requirements


  • High School diploma or GED required; 2yr/4yr degree desired
  • 5 yrs minimum work experience in construction scheduling, preferably with large industrial/commercial projects; industrial plant or nuclear facility environment, a definite plus
  • Hands-on proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office, very helpful
  • Must have experience working with resource loading schedules, contractor generated baseline schedules, time impact analyses, and earned value management reporting
  • Must have a working knowledge of how to read engineering / construction drawings
  • Must understand how project and Supplier work-scopes are actually sequenced and constructed
  • Must understand how project and supplier work-scopes are actually sequenced and constructed
  • Ability to convert schedules from one format to another, strongly desired
  • Possess excellent schedule analysis, troubleshooting, and forecasting skills
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be a team player
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
